UofL BASEBALL | Taylor Used To Winning... Even When Playing Other Sports

05/20/2017 10:13 AM

UofL baseball center fielder Logan Taylor is a competitor.

Perhaps that is a big reason why he is a team captain for the Cardinals this season.

“It’s always about winning,” said Taylor. “You never want to lose.”

It doesn’t matter which sport Taylor is playing. If he’s competing, the competitive juices are flowing.

This is true especially when he’s on the diamond playing college baseball. It’s also true though when he played intramural high school badminton while attending Lexington Catholic.

“It was just something that came up with the school,” said Taylor.

Taylor’s doubles team actually won the badminton league twice.

“Once we won it,” said Taylor, “we got to do it again.”
