UofL BASEBALL | Previewing This Weekend's Super Regional

The Louisville Cardinals (50-10) will host the Kentucky Wildcats (43-21) in a best-of-three game Super Regional series beginning on Friday.

All three games of the Super Regional will begin at 12 p.m. ET inside Jim Patterson Stadium. Game one of the series is set for Friday, game two is slated for Saturday and, if necessary, game three will take place Sunday.

The winner of the series will advance to the College World Series in Omaha.

BaseballAmerica.com author Michael Lananna joined Sports Night on Tuesday. He spoke with Andrew Chernoff about the upcoming series and about the impact UofL pitcher and first baseman Brendan McKay may have at the next level:

Andrew Chernoff

When he’s not on the air or in the field covering sports, you can likely find Andrew playing golf, watching IndyCar and Formula 1 races, or exploring the state of Kentucky. His favorite sport is open-wheel racing. In fact, he has not missed an Indianapolis 500 since the early 2000s.
