UofL BASEBALL | Cards Preparing for Rival Kentucky

04/02/2018 11:10 AM

The Louisville baseball team is getting ready for one of its toughest tests of the season Tuesday.

The Cards (19-8, 5-7) will take on No. 9 Kentucky (19-9, 3-6) at 4 p.m. ET inside Cliff Hagan Stadium. The game was originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET, but first pitch was moved up in order to avoid potential inclement weather.

It will be the first meeting between the two teams since UofL eliminated UK in the NCAA Super Regional round of the tournament last season.

The Cards enter the game coming off a 6-1 win at Florida St. on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Wildcats enter the game coming of a 5-2 win at Alabama on Sunday.

Louisville had a 3-1 record against Kentucky last season.
