UofL BASEBALL | Cards Looking Forward to 2018 Season

The Louisville baseball team is getting closer and closer to beginning its 2018 regular season.

To get fans excited for the season as well, the players signed autographs for them prior to Saturday’s men’s basketball game against Virginia Tech.

The Cards are coming off a successful 2017 campaign in which it advanced to the College World Series for the fourth time in program history.

This year’s team is hoping to make it back to Omaha:

The 2018 Cardinals will also be honoring the program’s biggest fan, Todd Esser, by having “Todd” on its hats this season. Esser passed away this past July:

Louisville opens the 2018 season on Feb. 16 against Richmond in Charleston, S.C., part of the Charleston Crab House Challenge. First pitch is set for around 12 p.m. ET.
