UofL BASEBALL | Cards Host Rival Kentucky on Tuesday

04/16/2018 04:34 PM

This week, the Louisville baseball team team will be looking to avenge its loss to the Kentucky Wildcats earlier this month.

The Cards (24-11, 9-9) host No. 6 Kentucky (25-11, 7-8) in the second installment of this season’s “Battle of the Bluegrass” baseball series. First pitch is set for just after 6 p.m. ET on Tuesday inside Jim Patterson Stadium.

The Wildcats got the better of the Cardinals on April 3, topping UofL 8-5 in Lexington.

The Cardinals will enter Tuesday’s game on a four-game winning streak, after beating NKU last Tuesday and sweeping Virginia Tech this past weekend in their three-game series.
