UofL BASEBALL | Cards enter final ACC home series with top MLB prospect

Corey Ray is batting .325 this season, has 13 home runs, and has stolen 35 bases. On defense, the junior outfielder has only four recorded errors in the 2016 season. Ray is a multi-tool player and his on-field dominance has recently earned him the title of top MLB prospect by ESPN scouting analyst Keith Law .
Ray has been a vital part to Louisville Baseball’s success all year, and as the Cards are now in the twilight of the regular season, they will rely on his experience more than ever. U of L plays its final ACC regular season home series this weekend against 10th ranked North Carolina State. Louisville has only lost one game at home this year, and a big key for success is head coach Dan McDonnell’s focus on keeping his team humble and keyed in on whoever the next opponent may be.
