UofL ATHLETICS | Tyra Discusses UofL Men's Basketball Recruiting Scandal

11/22/2017 04:48 PM

Spectrum News’ Andrew Chernoff sat down with Louisville Interim Athletic Director Vince Tyra on Tuesday morning to discuss a variety of topics, ranging from how he thinks his job is going to what his vision is for the UofL Athletic Department.

One of the things discussed though was the UofL men’s basketball recruiting scandal.

Chernoff began that discussion by asking Tyra about where he was when first heard about the scandal:

Of course, on Wednesday, after Chernoff’s conversation with Tyra, UofL announced that five-star recruit Brian Bowen would not practice or play with the UofL men’s basketball team. It also announced it was parting ways with UofL associate men’s basketball head coach Kenny Johnson.
