UofL ATHLETICS | Petrino Family Foundation Hosts "Kindness Workshop"

02/14/2018 12:41 PM

The Petrino Family Foundation held a “Kindness Workshop” for students at Lowe Elementary School in Louisville on Wednesday morning.

Members of the UofL football and UofL track and field teams were in attendance too in order to teach why treating others well is so important for young kids to learn.

They did so by telling stories, acting on stage and even ready quotes from Shakespeare.

Louisville running back Malik Staples, Louisville javelin thrower Halee Hudson and Petrino Family Foundation Executive Director Kelsey Petrino Scott talked about the event:

The event was part of the #LoveLouisville campaign, an “initiative to spread love and kindness throughout the Louisville community.”
