UofL ATHLETICS | Jurich's Attorney Discusses Jurich Firing

An attorney for former Louisville Athletic Director Tom Jurich spoke to the media on Wednesday afternoon, discussing what’s next for his client.

Sheryl Snyder, a partner with Frost Brown Todd and an attorney for Jurich, said the UofL Board of Trustees was wrong by making Jurich’s termination “for cause” rather than “without cause.”

Jurich was fired last Wednesday by the Board of Trustees.

“If we’re not able to reach a fair resolution with the university, we’ll be suing for breach of contract,” said Snyder.

“You always hope to settle a case,” said Snyder. “But, if you can’t settle a case, then you gear up for battle.”
