UK FOOTBALL | Former Wildcat Helping "Coach" Next Generation of Football Stars

Many future football stars are spending their offseason working out at Louisville’s Corey Taylor Sports Performance.

One of those football players includes DuPont Manual running back Aidan Robbins.

“I believe working here will get me to the best of my abilities, so I chose Corey Taylor,” said Robbins.

One of the perks for guys like Robbins is they get to learn from former football players, like former Kentucky linebacker Mikhail Mabry, who played for UK roughly a decade ago.

“We’re going to push you,” said Mabry. “We’re going to put you in an environment where it’s eat or be eaten. And you’re going to have to raise up.”

Mabry is a sports performance coach at Corey Taylor Sports Performance. As much as he enjoyed achieving his goals while he was playing football, he enjoys watching the young kids achieve their goals and progress over time.

“That’s probably the most satisfying thing that we would do here,” said Mabry.
