THOMAS MORE VOLLEYBALL | Freshman Stepping Up for Saints

The Thomas More College women’s volleyball team is off to a fast start in 2016.

The Saints are currently 10-1 in Presidents’ Athletic Conference play, thanks in part to the play of freshman setter Alli Borders.

“I’ve had to put in some extra time, and a little bit extra frustration in practice to get that chemistry built up, but the girls have worked really well with me,” said Borders.

Her head coach, John Spinney, has even noticed how well she has adjusted to her role on the team.

“It’s a huge responsibility,” said head coach John Spinney. “She has done it with poise.”
