THOMAS MORE | Saints make third straight Sweet 16, but it's not good enough

03/08/2016 10:10 AM

The Thomas More Women’s Basketball team is currently the most dominant team in the state of Kentucky. They enter the NCAA’s Division III round of sixteen on the heels of two blow out wins. The Saints have beaten their first two opponents by a combined total of 97 points, most recently, a 92-40 victory over Guilford in the round of 32.

Thomas More is currently 29-0 on the season and slated to play Maryville College in their Sweet 16 matchup. This is the third straight Sweet 16 appearance for the Saints, but it’s only the first part to stringing together consecutive National Titles.
