The Kentucky Derby Festival basketball Classic is usually one of the first events in the month long Kentucky Derby celebration. The Classic is the oldest High School All-Star game in the country.
Some of the big names who have played in past years include:
Dominique Wilkins, Moses Malone, Rex Chapman, Derek Anderson and Darrell Griffith.
Among the players taking part in this year’s event is future Wildcat Brad Calipari, the coach’s son, and future Cardinal Tyler Sharp.
The game is Friday April 15th. Chairman Mike Gandolfo helps us break it all down.
