Stansbury Lets Bench Shine in WKU Basketball's 38 Point Win Over Charlotte

WKU gained a lead over Charlotte after 10 minutes of play, and Head Coach Rick Stansbury used the opportunity to let the bench play through some mistakes. Coming off the bench, Freshman Josh Anderson led the Hilltoppers with a career high of 19 points.

WKU had five other players with double digit points: Justin Johnson 16, Darius Thompson 12, Taveion Hollingsworth 12, Dwight Coleby 12, and Lamonte Bearden 10. The Hilltoppers combined for 14 steals.

WKU improves to 21-7 and 13-2 in conference play. They will host Old Dominion on Saturday, the team that shares the tied second place spot in Conference USA standings.
