Spalding soccer Senior goalie is inspiring her teammates after a freak dune buggy accident in 2012. McKenna Pfeiffer was told by doctors that she may never walk or play any sports again. She had 3 units of blood lost, 5 surgeries and 6 months of rehab but that didn’t stop her. After seating out for two years and not playing she fought through and the rehab. Spalding head coach Shilo Rayburn was willing to take a chance on McKenna and it paid off. This season she has start all sixteen games and has five shutouts. The Golden Eagles finished the season at 8-8.
