Postgame Comments from Charlie Strong After U of L's Loss to Cincinnati
10/18/2011 08:04 AM
U of L head football coach Charlie Strong says his team has to learn how to finish games after the Cards lost to Cincinnati 25-16 at Paul Brown Stadium. U of L managed to come up with only 61 yards in the second half and 32 of those yards came in the final two minutes of the game when it was already decided. Strong says his team has to learn to finish a game if they want to become bowl-eligible this season.
Strong also says his team needs to learn to play great in both halves. The Cards had a decent first half and then fell apart in the second.
The Cards are now 2 and 4 on the season and host Rutgers Friday night.
