Pitino's 700th win comes in a sloppy defensive battle

It wasn’t pretty. It wasn’t dominating, but it was a win. Montrezl Harrell had a double-double, 15 points and 13 rebounds, while Chris Jones had 11 points and Terry Rozier had 9 points and 11 rebounds, as the Cards beat Cleveland State 45-33. The victory gives Head Coach Rick Pitino his 700th career win.

Pitino said that even though the Cards were brutal offensively, it is good for a team to win an ugly, scrappy, defensive type ballgame. With the victory Louisville improves now to 5-0 while the Vikings fall to 2-3. Next up for Number 6 Louisville is a Thanksgiving break, followed by a home game Tuesday Night against 16th ranked Ohio State
