Pitino gives updates on Kevin Ware, bringing another banner to Ky. and Russdiculous vs. Mr. Jones

UofL Coach Rick Pitino said the two Kentucky programs he’s worked for have a chance to bring an unprecedented third national championship back to the Bluegrass State in 2014.
“We’re looking — one of us — to make it three in a row,” he said, sparking applause. “It would be even more exciting if it was Louisville rather than Kentucky.”
One thing his squad has showed already in summer practices is the competitive fire, especially in the backcourt where senior Russ Smith has been going up against sophomore junior college transfer Chris Jones.
“These guys go for blood in practice,” Pitino told reporters at Tuesday’s announcement that the floor from this year’s national championship game will be hoisted into the rafters of the Yum Center.
