UofL Associate Head Coach Kevin Keatts will be taking the head job at UNC-Wilmington once the season is over for the Louisville Cardinals. Keatts, who is in his third season at Louisville, is recognized as one of the hottest up-and-coming coaches in the country in part for his recruiting prowess.

During his short time at Louisville, Keatts is primarily responsible for the likes of Montrezl Harrell, Anton Gill, Chris Jones and most of next season’s incoming class.
Keatts will be taking over a UNC-W team that won just nine games last season while competing in the Colonial Athletic Association. Keatts is expected to be formally announced as the new head coach sometime today.
