PGA TOUR | Barbasol Championship Holds Media Day

The upcoming PGA Tour Barbasol Championship held its media day on Monday.

The Barbasol Championship will take place from July 16-22 at the Champions Course at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Ky.

The tournament is providing a sponsor exemption to Kentucky native Josh Teater, who is a graduate of Henry Clay High School and played in college at Morehead St. Teater is currently a member of the Tour.

Meanwhile, UK golf graduates Cooper Musselman and Chip McDaniel will each begin their respective professional careers in the Barbasol Championship after they each received exemptions:

In addition to Teater, Musselman and McDaniel, LPGA golfer Brittany Lincicome also accepted a sponsor exemption to play in the Barbasol Championship. Lincicome will become the fifth female in history to compete in a PGA Tour event.
