UofL FOOTBALL | We continue to hurt ourselves

11/03/2015 08:00 PM

UofL head football coach Bobby Petrino has had some frustrating times trying to make sense of his Cardinals offense. Louisville has some real playmakers, including quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Reggie Bonnafon, and wide outs Jamari Staples and James Quick.

However, because the offense is so young, the offensive line in particular, UofL continues to stall on drives thanks to penalties, negative plays, and of course turnovers.

UofL (4-4, 3-2 in the ACC) hopes to work out the kinks in time for Saturday’s 12:30 p.m. ET contest against a Syracuse squad (3-5, 1-3) that has lost five straight games. A Louisville win would put the Cardinals over the .500 mark for the first time all season.
