UofL football and head coach Bobby Petrino are not wasting any time on the recruiting trail as they have just picked up their first recruit for the 2015 class. Mississippi defensive back TJ Jallow committed yesterday just hours after being offered by the UofL staff.
Jallow, who is not yet rated by any of the major services, could be the diamond in the rough type player that Petrino is known for developing. He is 6’1”, 205 lbs. and can also play cornerback. Jallow should get plenty of opportunity to see action as soon as he gets on campus as Coach Petrino has been very vocal on his concerns with the UofL secondary this past week.
TJ was also the teammate of former UofL commit Ross Trail. Trail decided to reopen his recruitment after former UofL boss Charlie Strong left for Texas. Louisville is still in the running for the quarterback’s services however, as Trail was at the UofL practice over the weekend for an unofficial visit.
