Louisville Head Coach Charlie Strong Announces No Decision on Texas

Louisville Head Coach Charlie Strong announced he has made no decision on whether or not he will leave for the Texas Longhorns.
Media and fans swarmed Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium on Saturday morning as rumors swirled he would announce his decision during a staff meeting. A player meeting is scheduled for Sunday. A UofL spokesperson said Strong has not met with UofL Athletic Director Tom Jurich, who is in Colorado delayed by bad weather.
Strong interviewed with Texas Athletic Director Steve Patterson earlier this week. Patterson is looking to replace former Longhorns coach Mack Brown, who left the university in December after 16 seasons there.
Strong interviewed for the head coaching position at Tennessee last off season but chose instead to stay at Louisville.
