No Days Off: Carlos Dunlap's spa day

If you walked into Mitchell’s Salon and Day Spa earlier this week, you may have been surprised to see a familiar face in the chair for a pedicure… a face that you’re used to seeing on the football field on Sundays. Our first “No Days Off” features Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap, who got an early start on Breast Cancer Awareness month.

“No Days Off” is a new series we’re starting to consistently feature how some of your favorite Bengals players spend their day off and the good they’re doing when they’re not on the football field. First up is AFC North sack leader, Carlos Dunlap. NFL players have a lot on their plate, especially during the season, but for Dunlap, giving back and making a difference is a priority. In his off time, the defensive end can be found doing all kinds of great things for the community with his foundation, which this week included a spa day for breast cancer survivors and patients…

Kaci Kust

Kaci is a Production Specialist based out of the Northern Kentucky Spectrum News bureau. When she’s not working at the station she is covering high school sports, Bengals or EKU games for Sports Night, which airs weeknights at 6:30 and 10:30 on Spectrum News. She played basketball for Hope College in Michigan where she earned a degree in journalism. She says if she wasn’t covering athletics for a living, she’d still be up early checking scores and stats.
