NKU BASKETBALL | Carson Williams reflects on tournament and freshman season

04/07/2017 07:00 PM

Carson Williams is a year removed from being named Kentucky’s High School Mr. Basketball. Since that time, he has earned a prominent role on the Northern Kentucky University men’s basketball team, won a Horizon League Title, and competed in the NCAA Tournament.

This weekend a lot of Kentucky high school players will be following a similar path as Williams did when he was getting ready for college. They are playing in the Kentucky-Ohio high school all-star games, taking place at Thomas More College.

Northern Kentucky reporter Kaci Kust caught up with Williams about what playing in that game was like, along with his first season of college ball.
