NCAA TOURNAMENT | Mississippi St. Preparing for Cards

The Louisville women’s basketball team is getting ready to play Mississippi St. for the first time in program history.

The No. 1-seeded Cards (36-2) and No. 1-seeded Bulldogs (36-1) face each other in a national semifinal match-up up Friday at 7 p.m. ET inside Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Oh. The winner advances to the NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship Game.

Mississippi State’s Roshunda Johnson and Blair Schaefer shared their thoughts on what they are expecting to see from Louisville Friday night:

Last year’s Bulldogs’ team advanced to the Final Four as well, upsetting UConn in the national semifinals en route to an appearance in the National Championship Game, where they fell to South Carolina. The Bulldogs said on Thursday that they learned a lot from that experience last year:
