NCAA HOOPS | Catching Up With OSU's Linnae Harper

Former McDonald’s All American and Chicago-native Linnae Harper spent her freshman and sophomore seasons at the University of Kentucky, playing for Coach Matthew Mitchell before transferring to Ohio State ahead of the 2015-2016 season.

At Kentucky, she averaged 11.5 points per game and led the team in rebounds per game at 7.1. She was honored both as the SEC All-Tournament Team and SEC All-Defensive Team while at Kentucky.

After red shirting the 2015-2016 season, Harper is averaging 8.4 PPG and 5.1 RPG.

After knocking off her former team on March 19 in the second round of the NCAA tournament, which was played in Memorial Coliseum on UK’s campus, Harper and the Buckeyes are set to face Notre Dame in the Sweet 16 at Rupp Arena.

Harper spoke with Spectrum News ahead of the match-up about being back in Lexington, the game and her friendship with Makayla Epps. Watch the full interview below:
