Ohio Valley Conference Football Media Day is taking place Monday in Nashville, Tn.

It is a chance for coaches and players from the league’s teams to meet with the media to talk about the upcoming season.

In addition for Q&A opportunities with the teams, the OVC revealed its preseason poll, which is compiled by votes from the league’s head coaches and sports information directors.

For the fourth-straight year, Jacksonville St. was picked as the OVC preseason favorite. The Gamecocks have won three-straight OVC Championships.

The rest of the poll looks like this:

1. Jacksonville St. (16) – 128
2. UT Martin (2) – 107
3. Tennessee St. – 96
4. Eastern Illinois – 81
5. Eastern Kentucky – 68
6. Tennessee Tech – 64
7. Southeast Missouri – 42
8. Murray St. – 41
9. Austin Peay – 21

Meanwhile, the Preseason All-OVC Football Team was also revealed on Monday, and it features four players from the Bluegrass.

Eastern Kentucky DL Aaron Patrick was named to the defensive team, while P Keith Wrzuszczak was named to the specialists team.

Murray St. WR Jordon Gandy was named to the offensive team, while DB D’Montre Wade was named to the defensive team.
