NASCAR | Stenhouse Looking Forward to MENCS Playoffs

09/14/2017 07:06 PM

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoffs begin this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway.

Martin Truex, Jr. enters the playoffs as the top seed. He has a 20-point advantage over second place Kyle Larson.

One of the 14 other drivers hoping to chase down Truex and Larson is Roush Fenway Racing’s Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.

Stenhouse has won two races this season (GEICO 500 and Coke Zero 400). He enters the NASCAR Playoffs as the eighth seed, 43 points behind Truex.

Spectrum News’ Andrew Chernoff caught up with Stenhouse on Thursday’s edition of Sports Night. They talked about the upcoming playoffs, the racing future of his girlfriend, Danica Patrick, and about the 2017 Ole Miss football team:

Sunday’s Tales of the Turtles 400 at Chicagoland Speedway will begin at 3 p.m. ET.
