Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver Martin Truex, Jr. made Saturday night’s Quaker State 400 look easy.

“This was the best car I’ve ever driven tonight,” said Truex, Jr.

Truex, Jr. led 152 of the race’s 274 laps en route to claiming his third victory of the MENCS season.

“It’s huge to win here, for so many reasons,” said Truex, Jr. “Toyota being down the street… There’s so many people that work there that come to this race.”

As a result of Saturday night’s race, Truex, Jr. finds himself only one point outside of first place in the point standings.

Meanwhile, Kyle Larson, who finished second on Saturday night, leads the MENCS standings.

Quaker State 400 pole sitter Kyle Busch is third in the MENCS standings, 101 points behind Larson.

This year’s Quaker State 400 was the first time the MENCS cars have raced on the 1.5-mile oval since the track’s repave late last year.

After the race, Denny Hamlin and Erik Jones talked about what it was like racing on the track:
