MSU FOOTBALL | Eagles players fostering team unity

08/09/2017 06:08 PM

Morehead State football held its annual media day this afternoon. The Eagles are coming off a 4-7 season in 2016, but head coach Rob Tenyer sees a quality in his players this season that he hopes grows that win total.

In his Q & A today, Tenyer said his team has bought in to togetherness and camaraderie, and forged a strong relationship over the course of winter workouts and spring training.

A strong team bond will be extremely important this season because of the large number of underclassmen suiting up for MSU. The Eagles have over 40 underclassmen on the roster, primarily freshmen. But youth will not be an excuse when their numbers are called.
