After starring at TCU his freshman season, it appeared Devonte’ Fields was destined for a promising football career. But following allegations of domestic violence in July 2014, he was dismissed from the school and landed at Trinity Valley Community College.
In his lone season at TVCC, Fields continued his outstanding play on the field. Now, he is a signee in Louisville’s 2015 recruiting class.
Many have questioned the Cards’ decision to bring the talented outside linebacker on board. Head coach Bobby Petrino addressed those concerns at his Signing Day press conference, and former UofL linebacker Dexter Heyman agrees with the decision to allow Fields to join the team.
