Louisville, FSU, Clemson and Georgia Tech shine in ACC's week 6

10/06/2014 08:00 PM

About midway through the college football season, the standings in the ACC are finally beginning to take shape.

Florida State, one of that nation’s top-ranked teams, rules the roost in the Atlantic division. The Seminoles are followed closely by Louisville and Clemson, and the rest of the teams are still searching for a conference win.

In the ACC Coastal, Georgia Tech is a surprise on top. But at 5-0 overall and 2-0 in conference games, the Yellow Jackets might have the makings of an eventual division champion. Virginia is also 2-0 in the ACC, and the Cavaliers no longer look like a bottom dweller.

Questions remain about a number of the other programs, but there is still a long way to go in the college football season as conference play is just heating up.
