Louisville City FC is getting ready to play its first home match in over a month.

LouCity FC (4-1-4) hosts Charlotte (3-2-3) on Wednesday night at 7:30 ET inside Louisville Slugger Field.

It will be the first home match for the Boys in Purple since their April 29 draw against Toronto FC II.

LouCity FC is coming off a 4-4 draw with the USL Eastern Conference leaders, the Charleston Battery (7-2-3).

LCFC midfielder Brian Ownby scored a goal in that match. He spoke with Spectrum News’ Andrew Chernoff at training on Tuesday:

As a result of Ownby’s performance last week, he was awarded a spot on this week’s USL Team of the Week.
