LOUISVILLE CITY FC | Luke Spencer previews Charleston

09/01/2017 12:17 PM

Louisville City FC is back in action this Saturday. The derby city club is taking on the Charleston Battery for the third time this season, and looking for a better result than a draw.

The first meeting between the two clubs this season resulted in a 4-4 finish, the second a 1-1 finish.

Lou city currently sits in first place in the USL east, and a win would put another three points between them and third place Charleston.

This Saturday is also a special “Salute to Heroes” night at Louisville Slugger Field. Active service members and first responders with an ID will be given free admittance to the 5:00 pm kick.

Lou City forward Luke Spencer is excited to take the field and get past last weekend’s loss. And he also takes a lot of pride in the service members in his own family.
