LOUISVILLE CITY FC | LouCity FC Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony at New Stadium Site

Louisville City FC held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new soccer-specific stadium in Butchertown on Thursday afternoon.

The new $65 million stadium is slated to have 11,300 seats. It is expected to be open in time for the 2020 season.

The new stadium is expected to have the following features:

  • 18 luxury suites
  • Premier Club area with accomodation for 250
  • Club and loge seating options
  • 40×72-foot video board
  • Eight bars in strategic locations throughout stadium

Currently, LouCity FC plays its home matches at Louisville Slugger Field.
