Louisville City FC is preparing for one of its biggest tests of the season on Saturday night.

The Boys in Purple will be on the road at Charleston to take on the Battery. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.

The clash features the top two clubs in the USL Eastern Conference. Charleston is in first place in the standings with 34 points, while LouCity FC is in second place with 28 points.

Spectrum News’ Andrew Chernoff caught up with LCFC midfielder Guy Abend to get his thoughts on this weekend’s match.

LCFC and Charleston have already faced each other once this season. That match ended in a 4-4 draw back in early June.
