Louisville City FC announced on Monday that DuPont Manual High School graduate Richard Ballard has signed with the club.

Ballard played college soccer at Indiana University, where he was named All-Big Ten Conference during his senior season.

Last year, Ballard scored four goals and two assists as a striker for the Hoosiers.

Ballard impressed LouCity head coach James O’Connor during tryouts in January. In fact, he received the official call that the team wanted him to join the team on his birthday.
