LOUISVILLE CITY FC | Boys in Purple to Face Familiar Opponent Next in U.S. Open Cup

Louisville City FC learned on Thursday that it will face Nashville SC in the 2018 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round of 16.

The match will be played on Wednesday, June 20 at 7 p.m. ET inside UofL’s Lynn Stadium.

LouCity FC and Nashville SC have already played each other twice this season, with each club winning one of those matches.

The Boys in Purple are coming off a 3-2 win over the New England Revolution (MLS) in the fourth round of the U.S. Open Cup.

LouCity FC’s focus though is currently on preparing for Bethlehem Steel FC, its opponent this Saturday. The USL match will begin at 5 p.m. ET inside Goodman Stadium.
