LOUISVILLE CITY FC | Boys in Purple Preparing for Next U.S. Open Cup Test

Louisville City FC is getting ready for its third-round match-up in this year’s Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

The Boys in Purple will face fellow USL club Saint Louis FC on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET inside UofL’s Lynn Stadium.

LCFC won its first match in this year’s U.S. Open Cup last week, by beating the Long Island Rough Riders 5-0.

Head coach James O’Connor spoke on Monday about the challenges of this time of year, playing both U.S. Open Cup matches and USL matches:
