LOUISVILLE CITY FC | Boys in Purple Pick Up First Home Loss of USL Season

Louisville City FC lost its first home match in the USL regular season on Wednesday, falling 1-0 to Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.

Pittsburgh’s Kenardo Forbes scored the game’s only goal in the 79th minute:

Wednesday’s match was LouCity’s fourth match in 11 days between USL play and U.S. Open Cup play.

LouCity defender Sean Totsch, goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh and head coach James O’Connor talked about the loss after the game:

The Boys in Purple will hope to bounce back Saturday when they host New York Red Bulls II. Kickoff at Slugger Field is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
