LOUISVILLE CITY FC | Boys In Purple Moving Up the Standings

06/19/2017 06:36 PM

Louisville City FC picked up its third consecutive win this past Saturday by topping the Pittsburgh Riverhounds 3-0.

The match was played in front of over 8,000 fans inside Louisville Slugger Field.

As a result of the victory, LouCity FC finds itself alone in second place in the USL’s Eastern Conference standings with 25 points.

It is only three points behind the conference-leading Charleston Battery. Meanwhile, the Boys in Purple are one point clear of the Tampa Bay Rowdies, who are third in the table.

Although many may be focusing on Louisville City FC’s quest to claim the top spot in the Eastern Conference standings, head coach James O’Connor is not one of those people:

LouCity takes on Harrisburg City Islanders Saturday night at 7 p.m. ET inside Harrisburg, Pennsylvania’s FNB Field.
