LOUISVILLE CITY | Chandler Hoffman - "We've put in the work."

04/26/2016 05:15 PM

For the second straight week, Louisville City FC forward Chandler Hoffman has earned USL Team of the Week honors. Hoffman has a league leading six goals this season, and is coming off his second consecutive multi-goal game against Harrisburg City. Hoffman gave his team a two goal buffer which came in handy after the Islanders fought back to a tie game. A late game header from Mark-Anthony Kaye put Louisville City back on top in the 90th minute for their third straight win.

Hoffman was also responsible for a hat trick in City’s week over Cincinnati, and earned USL Player of the Week in week four. All in all, Louisville City has seen six players named to the Team of the Week through Week 5, with goalkeeper Scott Goodwin (Week 1) and Hoffman (Week 4) earning Player of the Week accolades.

Hoffman was in studio with us today and we asked more about a team returning home on a hot streak.

Louisville City and Pittsburgh get started Wednesday night at 7:30 at Louisville Slugger Field.
