The Louisville Bats introduced new manager Pat Kelly on Tuesday afternoon.

Kelly replaces Delino DeShields, who led the Bats from 2015-2017, compiling a record of 191-239 (.444).

Kelly comes to Louisville after spending the past three seasons as manager of the Reds’ Double-A affiliate Pensacola Blue Wahoos. While there, he led the Wahoos to a 218-200 (.522) overall record.

The Bats begin their 2018 season on Friday, April 6 at home against the Toledo Mud Hens.
