Louisville Basketball releases Frankie Hughes from Letter of Intent

First reported by Scout.com Recruiting Director Evan Daniels, the University of Louisville and basketball signee have mutually agreed to part ways prior to the 2016-2017 season.

Hughes was one of three incoming Cardinals alongside 5-star wing V.J. King from Fairfax, VA, and graduate transfer Tony Hicks from the University of Pennsylvania.

Hughes is a 3-star prospect according to Scout, and is known as a tall, athletic shooting guard. With him out of the picture, U of L has one more scholarship to offer in the 2016 class. King has signed his Letter of Intent, and Hicks remains a verbal commit.
