Losing a goal is never fun

Louisville City is off to another hot start. Last year the team made it all the way to the eastern Conference Finals before being eliminated. This season Lou City has not lost since the second game of the season. Four wins and a pair of draws has the team sitting at 5-1-2, good for 17 points, the most in the United Soccer League.
Despite that, not everything is rosy. Last week in a 2-0 win at Toronto, defender Conor Shanosky was originally given credit for the first goal. The guys on defense don’t score much, so you can imagine how he felt when the official scorer changed that goal to an own-goal against Toronto. Louisville still got the point and ultimately the victory, but we had to ask the 25 year old Virginia native how he felt about losing credit for the goal.
