Former University of Louisville basketball star Kyle Kuric’s recovery from multiple brain surgeries is still going strong.

In a message to cn|2 Sports, Kyle relayed that:

“recovery is going well. Now I am swimming and doing more movements…should start running by next week!”

Kyle underwent three separate brain surgeries in 2015. The first was to remove a benign tumor, and the following to alleviate swelling from the initial surgery. Kyle is currently back in Gran Canaria, Spain undergoing physical therapy and hoping to rejoin his Spanish professional club on the court as soon as possible.
