Kyle Kuric calling on CardNation for a huge turnout at UofL toy drive

Former Louisville basketball forward Kyle Kuric had his world rocked a little over a month ago when he was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. Now three surgeries later, he his back home in Gran Canaria, Spain beginning physical therapy.

In the midst of his recovery, Kuric is prioritizing a cause he holds dear: Kyle’s Korner for Kids. Kyle’s Korner is a nonprofit organization Kuric started while still a student at U of L that collects toys for children in need. This Saturday, Louisville basketball hosts Western Kentucky university, and the game corresponds with the Cards’ annual toy drive that benefits U of L Athletic’s CardsCARE program and Kyle’s Korner for Kids.

We spoke with Kyle today, asked him how his recovery is going, his timetable for return to basketball, and talked a little Cardinal basketball.
