KENTUCKY DERBY | Levitch Interns with Mark Casse

05/06/2017 03:20 PM

Former UofL basketball player David Levitch did an internship with horse trainer Mark Casse last summer.

“I learned a lot,” said Levitch. “You got to get up everyday at four which is tough, but it was fun. They actually won the meet too, so that was fun.”

During the internship, Levitch hot walked, gave medicine to a few of the horses and provided support for the Casse’s.

“You got to learn to be very responsible back there,” said Levitch.
