Girvin hit the track at Churchill Downs once again on Thursday.

It was the second day in a row he put in work at Churchill Downs.

The colt, who has 15-1 odds to win the Derby, will start from post position seven on Saturday.

Girvin is recovering from a quarter crack. Trainer Joe Sharp updated the media on Girvin’s injury Thursday morning:

Meanwhile, Spectrum News’ Andrew Chernoff caught up with Girvin’s owner Brad Grady on Thursday morning at Churchill Downs. Girvin is Grady’s first-ever Derby horse that he will run in the big race.
